Robert Pressler has been creating gardens in Southern California for the past fifteen years. His expertise includes traditional Japanese style gardens, tropical gardens, stonescapes, water features, drought-tolerant species, creating unique usable spaces from the almost-vertical hillsides that are so prevalent in the area, and much more.
A bonsai enthusiast since the age of ten, he has been on the board of the Descanso Bonsai Society, and is a member of the California Bonsai Society, one of the country's oldest bonsai clubs. He has studied with bonsai masters John Naka, Harry Hirao, Ben Oki, and currently studies with Japanese bonsai master Kenji Miyata.
Robert's mission in building a garden is to create a personal sanctuary; each garden is exclusive to each client's needs and desires, a place to escape and recharge.
